We departed Bistro Monarca in Patzcuaro at 9 AM, with fresh coffee in hand (thanks Bruce & restaurant staff!). We travelled the toll highway to Uruapan and arrived in the centro at the perfect time, as the parade was just starting. By Noon, we were free to wander the market, visit the concurso and have lunch. We departed Uruapan at 2 PM for the small town of Tingambato, where we visited the ancient city of the same name, though which is also known as Tinganio. We were returned to Patzcuaro by 5 PM. Thanks to everyone for making this a fabulous day!
