Experience the Sierra Tarahumara in Deep Contemplation

Overview

March 2020

Meditation and Yoga instructor Shira Brenner of Boston will be in the Canyons this March to offer a week long yoga retreat in collaboration with Jennifer Bjarnason of Soul of Mexico Tours and Arturo Ortiz of Canyons your Way.  We have carefully designed this retreat to include important aspects of the canyons from Cuarenta Casas in Huapoca Canyon, to Batopilas and Copper Canyons.  Along our journey, you will experience a temazcal sweat lodge, row across Lake Arareco, enjoy yoga on the Copper Canyon rim, and engage with zip lines and a gondola ride before boarding El Chepe Train to El Fuerte and Los Mochis.  Uruapan Conceptual Artist, Jesus Alexandre, will join us to create artistic installations with your input - resulting in a print that you will receive as a gift.
